Literacy Volunteers of Kent County(LVKC), with its office in the Coventry Library, has been serving the community since 1982. We are a nationally accredited, non-profit adult literacy program that trains volunteer tutors to teach adult students(18 years+) Basic Reading Skills and English as a Second Language. We operate through grants and the generosity of donors, and volunteers. We are always looking for new tutors and students to become a part of our organization.
